   Oct-13-09 Edelman vs I Mazel, 1928 (replies)
Capthahn86: Are you kidding me? A much better pun would have been "Mazel Tov!"
Jan-02-09 Steinitz vs Pillsbury, 1892 (replies)
Capthahn86: When looking at this game, it reminds of the Petrosian vs.Spassky World Championship Match 1966 Game #10 Petrosian vs Spassky, 1966
   Mar-12-08 G Atwood vs J Wilson, 1801 (replies)
Capthahn86: My analysis was without computer assistance. The key is that every move is forced and patience. You gain more knowledge by figuring things out for yourself and with limited assistance.
   Feb-06-08 G Broomes vs N Khan, 1983 (replies)
Capthahn86: This game is a paradigm of what will happen if you violate fundamentals rules in chess! i.e. bring out your Queen too early and don't develop your pieces.
   Jun-20-07 G T Crown vs Kotov, 1947 (replies)
Capthahn86: I thought of a title for the Game of the Day,"The Thomas Crown Affair."
Jul-18-06 Petrosian vs Larsen, 1972 (replies)
Capthahn86: A phenomenal game by Petrosian! Simply beautiful! What else can I say?
   Mar-22-06 Gligoric vs E Nievergelt, 1959 (replies)
Capthahn86: Good call Autoreparaturwerkbau! I think took your advise.
Mar-14-06 Einstein vs Oppenheimer, 1933 (replies)
Capthahn86: I'm surprise that didnt put this game down as the game of the day today. After all today is Einstein's birthday!
Mar-01-06 Short vs Karpov, 1997 (replies)
Capthahn86: Besides 44. Rg4?? is there really any other rook move that Karpov could do? No matter where he moves the rook he has to give back material and go into a losing position because of the unstoppable pawns. If ...44.Rg3 then 45.Be2+,Kh6. 46.f6, Kg6. 47.Bh5+!, Kxh5. 48.f7... and white
   Feb-27-06 V Yemelin vs E Goric, 2001 (replies)
Capthahn86: I know that I'm not the greatest player and that I will be made fun of for this comment. But I literally solved this problem in a few seconds. Maybe it was just luck, pattern recognition, or both, but the answer just seemed to come to me.
