wolfking: ehmmm... i think it's the other way: Computers are strong tactically and humans positionally

Aug-23-07 Anderssen vs Dufresne, 1852 (replies)

wolfking: 19.Rad1!! must be the most spectacular move ever played on a chessboard. I like it even more than Fischer's queen sac. against Byrne.

   Jul-10-07 J Trevelyan vs F Jenni, 2005 (replies)

wolfking: Got this one and Monday's :P Hope Wednesday is a lucky day too

   Mar-11-07 Alekhine vs R M Folger, 1929 (replies)

wolfking: Black should've retired after move 25 or a bit earlier don't you think?

Mar-09-07 Khalifman vs Serper, 1994 (replies)

   Jan-22-07 Roberto Grau (replies)

wolfking: Capablanca and Grau were great friends. In a friendly game between them, Capablanca blunders!! Grau, instead of immediatly winning, insists Capa on taking back his move. After this, the game leads to a really favorable ending to Capa, but he agrees draw returning the favor ^^.

Jan-18-07 W Hanstein vs von der Lasa, 1839 (replies)

wolfking: Is this because b2 is the only escaping square for white's so if black kings takes it, it's stalemate and if not the white king just goes a1-b2-a1-b2 and draw?

Jan-16-07 Morphy vs Anderssen, 1858 (replies)

wolfking: I don't really get why you run morphy's games through Fritz or any other program. It was 19th century, not 21th!! Besides, I hate chess programs, they will destroy chess now or later.

   Jan-05-07 C Bloodgood vs R Porter, 1959 (replies)

wolfking: Hahahaha that pawn threatning two rooks really funny !!! ^^
