   Dec-21-24 D Garcia Ilundain vs J Polgar, 1992 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: I didn't see it, because I think 22 Qxf3 yields black very little advantage. 22 Rxf3 was a mistake IMO.

   Dec-18-24 D Collas vs Bacrot, 1995 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: Does R(1)e4 work as well? That's what I went for.

   Dec-09-24 J van Foreest vs M Dehn, 2013 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: <I had 29. Bb6+> me too And me!

   Nov-14-24 Vachier-Lagrave vs Carlsen, 2023 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: My only consolation is that I made exactly the same mistake as the World Champion.

   Oct-15-24 S Volkov vs H Melkumyan, 2010 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: I saw ...Qxg2+, but I think ...Bh3 also wins easily. White has to exchange queens or end up a rook down in a totally lost endgame.

   Aug-26-24 H Tikkanen vs D Semcesen, 2002 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: I went for Nxh5 without too much thought, as it wins pretty clearly. I can't see why it isn't better than the game line, to be honest. Black can defend the game line with Kg8 or Ng7 at the cost of the exchange.

   Jun-25-24 O Sikorova vs S Lalic, 2001 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: I went ...Rg1, which works just fine.

   Apr-23-24 G Swathi vs N Pogonina, 2008 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: 25...Bb5+ is not vital. 25...Rxc2 forces white to give up the Queen to avoid mate.

   Apr-02-24 S Siebrecht vs G Semmler, 2001 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: If Black is rated 2111, I'm Bobby Fischer. I've played 1500 rated players with more strategic grasp than him.

Jan-29-24 Black Knight vs Kaissa, 1977 (replies)

tonythekingfisher: White before his move 53 "Right, I'll do you for that!"
