Hello I live in the US and my unofficial rating is 1400 and Im decent in the game not master or grandmaster material but to someone with my rating and experience <games played> I could offer a challenge currently I have played 350ish games. My favorites would have to be Tal, Alekhine, Fischer, Tolusch and many more. I really like a lot of players and study a lot of their games. But I'm not at that playing caliper just yet... Probably see you soon in a tourney or something, L8ter! Now a little about myself: I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I've played chess uncompetetivly since I was 9ish I am now 19 and play better than I think I did when I was good. I have a good knowledge of the game could use a little professional help but don't have the finances to cover that sooo, I go to the library and study using their free resources! I love openings/endgames not too good in middle game I think I need work in that department. Well any comments or questions/challenges with the same experience and rating: email: It's ur move! > Searching for Bobby Fischer

theprophecy19: I see a lot of possible variations and reasons why you guys should consider the following moves...(Nc3) because it protects the b5 square if he plans to push that b-pawn and it develops a piece. (f4) is a decent move because it will force him into either capturing the bishop ...

theprophecy19: I believe Topolov made a mistake on move 14 when black offers the pawn. He should have taken with the knight because the bishop was guarding the g4 square from the knight....But even before then he should have left his bishop on f3 that was a good square for the bishop, he ...

theprophecy19: I think if Jeney could have found a way to get rid of the pawn dominance in the center he would have continued look at it if the knight moves and he connects the pawns he would have a 5/3 advantage over Jeney I think that is why he resigned...

theprophecy19: Nice performance by Jeney...I wonder what would have happened if Jeney played 23. Qxc7+ Kxc7 24. Nb5+ ... 25. Nxa3 how would the game have turned out? Do you guys think Steinitz could have won the game or drew?
