Technical draw is a fictional character living in the collective vision of chess games.com who has little relationship to the real technical draw; a neurotic and insecure figure obsessively clinging to the promise of power and wealth as if it were the only meaning in his life.

technical draw: Just like bitcoin I can never understand the mathematical operator called the Hamiltonian.

I know the definition: "The Hamiltonian of a system is the sum of the kinetic energies of all the particles, plus the potential energy of the particles associated with the system."

But for some reason I cannot internalize it and apply it. Oh, well, I guess we can't know everything.

<TD> you are still missing the most important definition of the Hamiltonian. This science will help explain:

So you take the sum of all the horses kinetic energy, plus the potential energy of the Mudders, and this helps you pick winners.

This sounds like something I could sell.
(Like td's Pick-3 system)

I once used <TD's> Pick-3 system to ensure I was hoarding the proper "3 ply" toilet tissue.

I can report that <TD's> system is a winner!

Now I have over 35,000 metric tons of 3 ply toilet tissue in my apartment.

35,000 metric tons? Is your apartment in Trump Tower? (The whole tower that is). Just joking. I have no idea how much a metric ton is.

Anyway, <jfq>, you have to pay me royalties for using my patented system. (In US dollars please, not toilet paper)

It's a good thing you cashed in your bitcoin. You do realize that Bitcoin derives from the the Greek Bitcus which means fake? Bitcoin isn't worth the paper it's written on.

If you want to invest try TD's investment futures. You pay today and I get rich tomorrow.

technical draw: I just finished watching the Netflix series The Last Czars. I recommend it. It focuses mainly on the Romanov family and the infamous Rasputin. It also has a second time frame with the story of Princess Anastasia and her fate. It's a good series to binge watch.

  diceman: <technical draw:

Also never bet the favorite in a horse race, you might lose all your beads.>

In the late 1970s, while on a family vacation in Florida, my family visited a Daytona Beach Dog track.

At the time, I was playing a song on guitar by Led Zeppelin called, <Black Mountain Side>.

When the first race started, there was a dog running named <Black Mountain> I had to bet on it.

Needless to say, <Black Mountain> won. So I left Daytona, with a 100% winning average. That is what <Quitting While You're Ahead> looks like.

(It also helped that I couldn't relate any other dogs running that day to Led Zeppelin songs)

As long as it was a late race.

technical draw: Speaking of trifectas, did you know that it's possible for the trifecta (win, place, show) to pay LESS than the perfecta (win, place). How is that possible? It's possible because the trifecta and perfecta betting pools are separate. You may have a lot of bets on the winning trifecta but not many on the winning perfecta.

The fact is I have seen this and it's not as uncommon as one would think. This sometimes upsets bettors who believe that somehow they have been cheated.
