   Jul-18-06 P Karagianis vs M Gagunashvili, 2006 (replies)

mofoman: Very interesting, 56...Qg1+ comming from somebody with 2600 Elo

   Feb-15-06 N Shavtvaladze vs A Tzermiadianos, 2005

mofoman: Does anybody see a win for black here? or was it time??

Feb-13-06 Colle vs Euwe, 1926 (replies)

mofoman: Euwe also lost lots of games against E. Colle, so i dont think it was really like childs play here. :-)

   Feb-10-06 Korchnoi vs V Beim, 2005

mofoman: You are right, there is no way for black to save himself after that fork. Does this really happen to 2600+....strange

   Jan-24-06 F Jackson vs B Hoareau, 2004

mofoman: Qg4# not +

   Oct-10-05 I Bilic vs F Ljubicic, 2000 (replies)

mofoman: "necitko"="unreadable"

Sep-14-05 Colle vs Gruenfeld, 1929 (replies)

mofoman: yes im sorry. he reaches c8 in time which makes it a draw. maybe gruenfeld didnt have enough time on his clock when he resigned this one.

   Sep-14-05 Colle vs R P Michell, 1930

mofoman: There is no need to lose a move on dxc5. It would have been good if the black queen knight were on c6. than 1.dxc5 Bxc5 2.e4 dxe4 3.Kxe4 Kxe4 5. Bxe4 and now all is ready for that nice Bishop sac on h7.....compare with some other games from Colle in the database. Isolani is also not

   Sep-14-05 Colle vs J J O'Hanlon, 1930 (replies)

mofoman: Vukovic was wrong so as many others. Read "Das Colle-Koltanowski-System" by Bronznik Valeri, and you will see that this sac acctually works. The best black can do is hope for a draw...
