hello friends. my name is daniel and for the most part of the year i live in fayetteville, arkansas where i attend the university. i learned to play the game of chess at the age of 5 and then didn't play much again until i was a senior in high school; that very same year i started the first chess club at rivercrest high school. it was a huge success, and the 40+ members elected me president, i am very proud of this fact, i was most overjoyed when i heard the news, nearly in tears one might say, i was literally speechless, but, in honor of my new position, i stood up in front of the multitudes and delivered an outstanding acceptance speech, a speech that will never be forgotten by the people who were given the gift of hearing it live. oh, what a great day that was. i entered a few tournaments that year. in the regional scholastic tournament i and my team landed the individual and team second place trophies, respectively, and respectfully of the chess god, Caissa. later that night we sacrificed a pawn in order to honor the gods that made our victory possible. unfortunately, the local police force got wind of our celebration about our successful cerebration and arrested the whole chess team. they allowed us to stay in the lobby of the police station, all the while we were bragging about our triumphs, when the chief came and told us we must leave for this reason: he could not stand to hear chess nuts boasting in an open foyer. this is my story, tell it to five people in the next 10 minutes and you will meet your true love this week! |
