I do not have a rating. If I did, I think it would be around 1350 - 1500.

   Dec-28-21 S P Sethuraman vs N Guliyev, 2019 (replies)

gary11201: I too started with Qxf6.

   Dec-21-21 Maroczy vs Moreau, 1903

gary11201: At least Colonel Moreau was invited to play in the tournament. Many weren't.

Dec-10-21 Nepomniachtchi vs Carlsen, 2021 (replies)

gary11201: After move 3 I was hoping for Fried Liver! Back to my high school days.

Dec-02-21 Carlsen - Nepomniachtchi World Championship Match (2021) (replies)

gary11201: If Carlsen said sincerely about the championship: "I feel like I’ve been here, done it before. And it doesn’t excite me, to be honest" then he should consider packing it in a la Bjorn Borg.

Dec-01-21 Carlsen vs Nepomniachtchi, 2021 (replies)

gary11201: Ten more draws will not be good for the game's popularity. Surely Carlsen knows that, and cares about that, and understands that such a result will not be best for the empire that he is building. I don't know enough about Nepo even to speculate about what he might think another ...

Oct-18-21 United States Championship (2021) (replies)

gary11201: To He Mate Me: How did Norway, a country with a small population, produce a champion like Carlsen? The same way Cuba produced Capablanca and the Netherlands produced Euwe.

   Sep-29-21 Noah Tscharnuter vs A Wengholm, 2021

gary11201: nicely done!

   Sep-04-21 F Delius vs S Prokofiev, 1932 (replies)

gary11201: Prokofiev was strong enough to beat Capablanca once. In an exhibition, to be sure, but still.

   Aug-29-21 J van Foreest vs V S Gujrathi, 2021 (replies)

gary11201: If White plays 21. Bg2, Black still plays 21...Qxa8, and then how does White defend against 22...Qg2 checkmate?

   Aug-27-21 Polgar vs Ree, 1989

gary11201: No obvious errors, but Ree leaves on their original squares through 12 moves his QN and QB. I started to wonder, around the 8th move, why the QB hadn't come out to c6. Yes, Polgar took full advantage - good for her!
