May-05-07 Anderssen vs Kieseritzky, 1851 (replies)
cdupree: My guess is the reason this game hasn't been chosen as game of the day is that it's too famous---everyone knows The Immortal Game.
May-05-07 Alekhine vs Marshall, 1925 (replies)
cdupree: Marshall may have been US champion for a quarter century but Alekhine blows him away. For some excellent analysis on this game see "The Art of the Middlegame" by Keres and Kotov. Or just sit back and watch Alekhine, in full command of his Beethoven-like capacity.
Dec-09-05 Geller vs Uhlmann, 1970 (replies)
cdupree: Does someone have a legal version of this score? Quite obviously, 7. ...Ne7 is illegal.
