Sami Jr: <angslo> Thanks!
   Jan-30-07 Polgar vs S Polgar, 1994 (replies)
Sami Jr: < Whitehat1963 > 57...gxf4 is not a good move because after: 58. Bxf5+... 59. Bxh3! and white has more pawns which are also closer to being promoted. This outcome would have been less favorable for black (quicker loss).
Jan-26-07 Svidler vs Topalov, 2007 (replies)
Sami Jr: Maybe tomorrow Dainalov will say something about communication cables in the room....
Jan-24-07 Van Wely vs Aronian, 2007 (replies)
Sami Jr: Just got back and saw a draw. Wow! I was expecting 1-0. What good way to trap White's bishop in moves 38 and 39. Aronian got a two for one trade to equalize and draw the game. Nice end game play by Aronian.
Jan-19-07 Kramnik vs Anand, 2007 (replies)
Sami Jr: This game is over. One of those white pawns will queen. Anand can not stop both of them.
Jan-16-07 Kramnik vs Navara, 2007 (replies)
Sami Jr: I'm wondering why Kramnik didn't play 53.Rxg4. He could have won the game with that move in my humble opinion.
   Jan-16-07 Corus Group A (2007) (replies)
Sami Jr: In Kramnik-Navara, I'm wondering why Kramnik didn't play 53.Rxg4. He could have won the game with that move in my humble opinion.
Nov-08-06 Kramnik vs Illescas Cordoba, 1994 (replies)
Sami Jr: Kramnik's 37th move is a great move to win the game. At first glance it seems like suicide, but after careful evaluation Kramnik takes his opponent's castle in return by putting the king in check. No matter where Illescas-Cordoba's king goes, Kramnik can check and get the black ...
   Nov-03-06 Levenfish vs S Gotthilf, 1924 (replies)
Sami Jr: I love the move 34 Kh2. It was key for the following imminent mate. Levenfish could have still won with out that move but it would have taken much longer. What an exciting way to win!
   Oct-30-06 Sicilian, Dragon (B72) (replies)
Sami Jr: Does anyone know why the statistics of <White wins/Black wins/Draws> here are very different than that listed in the opening expolorer? Here the stats are listed at <37.6%/31.8%/30.6%> versus <46.1%/25%/28.9%> in the opening explorer. They are very different. The ...
