My Favorite openings for White are (in order) The English, The Evans Gambit, And The Piano. The reason I like the English is, when I play other kids, they're gonna expect e4. I love seeing their faces after I play c4. My favorite version of the English is this:
1.c4 1...(usually)e5 2.Nc3 2...Nf6 3.g3 3...Bc5 4.Bg2

I am now preparing for SUPERNATIONALS!!! April 3-5 in Nashville,TN Thats quite a long way from IL.(where i live) It will be one of the biggest tournaments of my life and i am going with the cary kings, and <chesstoplay> i am cramming for it. I would like to make a general suggestion here - to go easy on the members who are obviously kids. Sometimes this is hard to tell or at least not obvious. I don't mind if you guys are harsh on me or my analysis - in fact, the world team performs better when we are critical of each others work. But we should at least be easier on the kids, even when they make statements which are non-productive.

I know about a year ago I was making dumb comments, but hey, I was 8 then. I'm 11 now, and much more sophisticated(as far as chess goes!) Thanks to <redoctober>,<chesstoplay>, <hms123>,and <Artar1> for their kindness and everyone else.
