<<I dont kibitz as much as I used to, but I still hang around and check out the site every now and then!!>>

Hello to the person bored enough to read my profile.

I am 15 years old and come from England, near London. Even though I am probably a lot younger than most people here, I am a chess fanatic and play chess as much as I can.

I discovered this site on the 29th of September 2003 and it's definitely the BEST one I've been to.

I LOVE gambits as they allow quick, decisive play with a lot of action. I play the Benko Gambit, the Goring Gambit, the Smith-Morra Gambit and a few more.

My favourite player is probably Robert James Fischer because he plays so well and is great to watch, although he hasn't been seen much recently. I also like Paul Morphy because of his daring, aggressive play and Emil Joseph Diemer for the same reasons.

My favourite game is D Byrne vs Fischer, 1956 . It is a stunning display of chess. Bobby Fischer was only 13 at the time. I also find these games incredible: Maroczy vs Chigorin, 1903, Serper vs I Nikolaidis, 1993 & C de Ronde vs H Kamstra, 1938 - totally suicidal, but instructive games of chess.

If you're still awake after reading my very boring profile, check out my games collections. I would appreciate some in compiling them.
