   Aug-18-13 Shirov vs V Malaniuk, 1989 (replies)

Chris1Clark: I was with al wazir but sadly simple things like 38...Kg3 somewhat make that a non plan. Otherwise I was at the same place.

Mar-29-13 Carlsen vs Ivanchuk, 2013 (replies)

Chris1Clark: Not sure it was

   Oct-31-12 Z Necesany vs V Zagorovsky, 1972 (replies)

Chris1Clark: Well I rather liked 1. ..Rc4+ and if either knight takes or pawn takes then 2. d4+ and the white queen drops or even if 2. Kd3 then 2..Rc3+ and same again. A win but not as emphatic.

   Nov-26-11 S Lu vs Y Wan, 2011 (replies)

Chris1Clark: Thanks sevenseaman saw that after my post but I do think it survives a lot better than h3. Appreciate the answer maybe someone else will have a view.

   Sep-13-11 K Krantz vs J Sellberg, 1974 (replies)

Chris1Clark: Always bad to get a Tuesday wrong I had Rxf1 then Rxd1 then Qxe6 a win for white but rather ugly.

   Jul-19-11 Klovans vs A I Zakharov, 1963 (replies)

Chris1Clark: Our dear friend dzechiel just types badly sometimes. Still a fan of your post.

Apr-22-11 Panno vs Spassky, 1955 (replies)

Chris1Clark: I thought 28.Rxg7+ Kh8 29. Rxg6 hxg6 and 30. Bxe4 seems to be pretty decisive. Any advice as to why this is flawed would be gratefully recievd.

   Nov-27-10 T Henrichs vs M Prusikin, 2007 (replies)

Chris1Clark: I do not kibitz often but never miss a day of all you others. I had a dreadful chess week in a league game where I was material up and better position and superior development and had a fantastic attack planned and for some reason played the second move in my planned sequence. ...

   Aug-10-10 B Wexler vs O Bazan, 1960 (replies)

Chris1Clark: can someone let me know why not Rg5 with Rxg4 mate there is a pointless check maybe for white to have.

   Mar-20-10 Anand vs R Kempinski, 2010 (replies)

Chris1Clark: My line was somewhat more cumbersome. 24. Bxe6 Qf6 25. Qxf6 gxf6 26. Bxc8 Rbxc8 27. Rd6 and white sweeps up some pawns and marches the a,b,c pawns in. Actual solution is more elegant, but this line is a clear win as well I think. Please shoot some holes in it if I have been dumb
