Currently club-level player with an appreciation for the styles of Nezhmedtinov, Petrosian, Tal, and among active players, Anand, Carlsen (when his wins are not merely due to endgame exhaustion on the opponent's part), Ding Liren, and Ivanchuk.

Apr-04-19 Anand vs Giri, 2019 (replies)
CaradhrasAiguo: As both players pointed out at the press conference, 20...Qh5 allowing 21. Bc7-b6 (monster bishop), freeing White's d1-rook from the defence of the d4-pawn and and allowing doubling with 25. Rde1. Anand excellently punished Giri for not playing dynamically.
