I'm from Tacoma, Washington, USA. I'm 80 years old and have blundered through chess for about 70 years, losing frequently but once in a while actually beating somebody. Most often my victims have been small children or other beginners. I'm rated a bit over 1700 USCF, but have been, for brief moments, over 2000. My favorite master is Anand. I don't understand his games but he has a wonderful personality. Thanks for reading. I love to write about my favorite subject, which, as you may have gathered, is me!
