Alpenbock has kibitzed 8 times to chessgames
   Jan-21-11 Gelfand vs V Akopian, 2008
Alpenbock: 30...Nf6 is a mistake. Black should have played 30...Re7
Feb-09-09 M Umansky vs The World, 2009 (replies)
Alpenbock: 3.Nc3 allows 3...dc4 as Kramnik played against Fritz
Jan-27-09 Karjakin vs Movsesian, 2009 (replies)
Alpenbock: sorry - White to move :D)
   Jan-23-09 H J Cordes vs Miles, 1985 (replies)
Alpenbock: <Since it seems like Black's position holds with 11...g6. What is White's plan then?> 12.Qe5 and Qh8
   Jan-16-09 Larsen vs E Torre, 1987 (replies)
Alpenbock: After 39.a4 Black is in zugzwang. His only plan is to activate the knight - therefore he has to play ...h5. If 39...Nf6 40.Nh6. 39...Rd8 fails to 40.Ne7 and mate. If 39...b6 White can play Rf2, Kg2 or whatever - Black has no move left.
   Jan-12-09 Wallenrath vs C Jaenisch, 1850
Alpenbock: No tricks available :D) - White could also play 49.Nf5 Kf5 50.Kf3, taking the opposition and making a draw.
Jan-11-09 Mitkov vs Rublevsky, 2000 (replies)
Alpenbock: There is an article in NIC Yearbook 62, written by GM Mikhail Golubev:"A Macedonian Rook Sacrifice". It also includes an analysis of this game.
(replies) indicates a reply to the comment.
