Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-22-14  Everett: "Pohla" if I am not mistaken, is a name of a hero/diety in Finnish mythology. Or maybe from Leiber's Lankhmar stories?
Feb-22-14  bien pensant: As in other quests for the truth, this can be resolved by googling.
Feb-22-14  Everett: Couldn't find it, and I've thrown out all my old mythology and gaming stuff.

I think I may be wrong...

Feb-23-14  nimh: "Pohla" is the genitive singular of "pohl", Estonian for cowberry.
Feb-23-14  Everett: <nimh> thanks.

<nimh> "Estonian for cowberry."

I think you may have ahold of the wrong animal there:

Harry Pohla Bear.
