Mar-06-09  whiteshark: <Chuck Diebert> has been an American chess life Master since 1987. He has won the Columbus, Ohio chess tournament eight times, and has been runner-up six times. His career high ranking was 2396. Chuck is now a coach who has coached countless Ohio state and national champions.


Mar-06-09  whiteshark: <The Blackmar-Diebert is a variation of the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit named after Chuck Diebert. Chuck made and used a tactical new line in the opening to gain a 2396 rating. He also has a book published on his variation.>
