IM Alex Casa (1932–2005) from France.

Apart from playing OTB, he composed elegant two- and threemovers.

Er war nicht nur erfolgreicher Partiespieler - der mehrfach für Frankreich an Schacholympiaden teilnahm, sondern konnte auch als Problemist mit seinen Kompositionen – überwiegend Zweizüger – manch schönen Erfolg erringen. In den letzten Jahren bereicherte er regelmäßig den Urdruckteil der Schwalbe.
