Dorian Rogozenko (Rogozenco) was born in Kishinev, Moldova. He learned to play chess at 6 years old, and by 19 he had achieved the title of International Master. Four years later (in 1996) he achieved the title of Grandmaster. He won the Moldavia Junior Chess Championship four times, and the Moldavian Championship in 1994. He placed first in the Moscow GM tournament 1992, Chemnitz open 1997, Bucharest GM 1998, Eforie open 1998, Lvov 1995 (tied), Hamburg 1997, and Hamburg 2000. FIDE Trainer (2011).

As a computer expert, he has done work for several chess websites including www.worldchessnetwork.com and www.chessbase.com.

He is currently residing in Bucharest.
