Ruben (or Rubin) Shocron was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on February 20, 1921. He was Argentinian sub-Champion in 1952. He immigrated to the United States in 1960. He died in Pennsylvania on March 8, 2013.(1) He won state championships in Pennsylvania, Georgia and New Mexico.

Feb-18-11  Caissanist: So far as I know these games are all from the same player. Shocron emigrated from Argentina to the United States sometime in the sixties or early seventies, and had a long career in both countries.

  perfidious: <Caissanist>: Indeed Shocron did-just found a game from 2004 which is clearly his and have submitted it for correction.

Also, I remember seeing him (much to my surprise) in an event at Albany, New York in March 1980.
