In 1992, the 14th annual Canadian Cadet Championship saw FIDE Master Eduardo Teodoro achieve that tournament's 1st perfect score of 9 consecutive wins. He repeated by winning the 16th Canadian Cadet Championship with 7.5/9, and soon won the 1996 Canadian Junior Championship and the 2000 Toronto Closed events.
