AKE H PETTERSSON
(died 1932) Sweden

[what is this?]
Åke H. Petterson was the first official Nordic Champion, in the 5th Nordic championship during the 3rd Congress of the Nordic Chess Federation (Stockholm 1905) (cf. http://storiascacchi.altervista.org...). Two months later, Fritz Englund brought him to Barmen Meisterturnier B (1905), where he ended last, with 15 losses, a draw vs David Przepiorka and a win vs Julius Perlis. Returning back to Stockholm he also played in Stockholm (1906). He was last again, after which he appears to have played club chess only. He was a master house painter and lived in Stockholm until his death in 1932.

Tabanus: Not much to find on him, but A. H. Pettersson is without doubt the same person as Ake (= Åke) Petterson in http://storiascacchi.altervista.org....
