Sep-17-14  parisattack: Anyone have the game from the 1970 Utah Open were Bob beat Jude Acers?

cwcarlson: I used to have it somewhere, not sure if I still do. I think it was 1969 since it was the same year Acers beat Wendling in the Denver Open. Wendling said he had to mate with two Queens since Acers wouldn't resign a hopeless position.

cwcarlson: I've got the moves to Wendling - Acers from an old Colorado Chess newsletter. What's your email? I'll send it as an attachment.
Sep-27-14  parisattack: Cool beans! Check my forum, thanks!
Dec-06-14  parisattack: Hi <cwcarlson> I submitted the game to CG. Thanks for finding and sending it to me. I enjoyed playing through it several times. RIP, Bob.

cwcarlson: Glad to help. I hope it's added! When are we going to see some of your games?
Dec-07-14  parisattack: LOL! You want me to get bounced off CG.com after 10 years!? Actually I tossed all of them when I moved to Hawaii in 1979 along with quite a load of other items from that chess-playing era. I played at best half-dozen memorable (to me) games. The <ParisAttack>-Lopez against <Bob Burley> was sort of fun...
