chancho: <EmperorAtahualpa> Actually he was a C player, before he got the hang of it. :)
Apr-22-06  midknightblue: Don't hate the player.
Nov-06-06  dakgootje: Lets make him player of the day
Nov-06-06  Karpova: I can c this player
Nov-06-06  technical draw: With that rating he is not a "C" player, more like an "A" or expert player.
Nov-06-06  mack: Yes, Ed has had all of these jokes and more over the years. Unfortunately he's a little more interested in cricket these days.

Phony Benoni: Years ago, I picked up a promotional issue of a self-produced magazine called "A Player's Journal". The editor stated that he was only a USCF Class B Player at the moment, but if he gained some more rating points he would change the name of the magazine to "A-Player's Journal."
Nov-19-06  Karpova: Why are there so many comments on this page? The guy was a C player at best...
Nov-15-07  whiteshark: Edmund, the Bavarian, C Player ?
Nov-15-07  Jim Bartle: His play improved, so he changed his name to Edmund B Player.
Nov-16-07  Poulsen: No no, he would like to improve, so now his name is Edmund Wanna B Player.

And he will improve - as we all do - and his tombstone will say: Here lies Edmund Once A Player

Eggman: You are all wrong: a cursory look at the list of his games him to be, again and again, an E Player.
Feb-20-08  sultanmir: Yes. Game lists show him as E Player. And yeah take a look at his game, he is definitely e4 player.

  OhioChessFan: Spending all my nights
All my money going out on the town
Doing anything just to get you off of my mind
But when the morning comes
I'm right back where I started again
Trying to forget you is just a waste of time

Baby come back, any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back, you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can't live without you

All day long, wearing a mask of false bravado
Trying to keep up the smile that hides a tear
But as the sun goes down
I get that empty feeling again
How I wish to God that you were here

Baby come back, any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back, you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can't live without you

Now that I put it all together
Give me the chance to make you see
Have you used up all the love in your heart
Nothing left for me
Ain't there nothing left for me

Baby come back, any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back, listen, you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can't live without you

I was wrong, and I just can't live

Feb-19-09  whiteshark: Any relations to CD Player?
Nov-05-14  Aleman: Lack of comments on this player. He was indeed a good player as I remembered playing him a in a junior tournament many years ago in Staffordshire. I would have finish joint first with a victory, however Edmund was the better player on the day.

perfidious: As the late Ken Smith was wont to say of himself after dragging a poker pot, 'Whatta player!'
Aug-30-22  Nosnibor: To score 5/9 at the age of twelve in the Isle of Man Open, 1995 indicates that he had the basic skills at an early age. Give credit where it is due.
Jun-12-24  mrlager: Now he's a Player to watch out for.
