SteinitzLives: The 1800s just called. They want their game back. But seriously a game like this is comparitively rare these days at classical time controls, and must have been an ongoing adrenaline rush to watch live, not to mention to play!

perfidious: Quite a pretty effort, analogous to the classic windmill theme exemplified in Torre vs Lasker, 1925.
Jan-15-23  outplayer: <Messiah> A game of a god playing to a dwarf.

Teyss: I was about to make a sarcastic comment "Is this Tata Steel Amateurs"? Yes it exists: https://amateurs.tatasteelchess.com...

But then on move 25 as an amateur precisely I would have gone for the BQ: 25.Rg5+ Kh7 26.Rxh5+ Kg6 27.Rg5+ Kf7 (the h column is too dangerous) 28.Rg7+ Ke8 29.Re1+ Kd8 30.Ree7 with one P less but a winning position (+11.1 at 30 ply).

The game continuation is stronger: Black has to give up material to avoid mate (+17.9 at 30 ply after White's 28th). Well done and entertaining game.

The put was already used for V Litvinov vs Veresov, 1958 but here it triply fits.

Jan-23-23  BxChess: An entertaining game and a clever pun. A triple, as Teyss notes.
Jan-23-23  WickedPawn: < The put was already used for V Litvinov vs Veresov, 1958 but here it triply fits.> Great catch <Teyss>. Amazing.
