May-13-22  paavoh: 25. Kd4?? Quite an oversight by MVL.
May-14-22  et voila: Aronoan is the devil in disguise. You can't even close your eyes for a second, you have to be 100% vigilant!

HeMateMe: What does white get out of this variation anyway? He's just a pawn down.

Dionysius1: At Superbet Romania (2022)/Levon Aronian 9...Qa5 is listed as a sacrifice.

How come? Aronian just delayed retaking on f6 until after a few forcing checks.

I suppose it must be difficult to design an algorithm that doesn't count that as a sacrifice?

But I don't like our understanding of words we use being perverted for the conveniencce of an algorithm.

May-18-22  spingo: The final position is almost comic.

(That <would> be the final position, if Black played 26...Rd8#.)
The ♙on f4 takes away a crucial escape square for the king.

Dec-29-23  jerseybob: This game looks blitzy.
