28. Qh4 is met by Rf8.

How about this line?

22...fxe5 23. Bd5+ Kh8 24. Bg5 Qe8 25. Rxf8+ Bxf8 26. Bf6+ Bg7 27. Qg5 (threatening 28. Bxg7+ Kxg7 29. Qf6+ Kh6 30. Rf5 and mate next move) Nxd4 28. Bxg7+ Kxg7 29. Qf6+ Kh6 30. h4 Rc8 31. h5 Qh8 32. Qh4 Qd8 33. Rf6 Kg7 34. Rf7+ Kh8 35. hxg6 Qxh4 36. g7+ Kg8 37. Re7+ and mate next move!

After 32 ... Ne2+ 33. Kh2 g5 34. Qf2 Nf4, however, it looks like a draw.

There seems to be no way for white to avoid capture of the d-pawn AND keep his attack going.
