Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-06-19  dumbgai: White could have saved the day with 70. Bxd6 but the correct line is difficult to calculate. After 70...cxd6 the key move is 71. Nf3 with the idea 71...Kxa2 72. Nf5 b3 73. Nxd6 b2 74. Ne4 and the knight manages to stop the b-pawn. However there are traps for example if 74. Nxb5 then ...Kb3 prevents both Na3 and Nc3, and the b-pawn cannot be stopped.
Jun-10-19  James J. Henderson: <dumbgai> True, but Black didn't have to allow this. The simple 67...Rf8 would have maintained Black's advantage. (Incidentally, you meant to say 71.Ne3, not 71.Nf3.)
