You're right, it really is masterful technique. Especially with the unbalanced material of R+B vs. Q - you have to be really good to play those well.

well, yes, but Magnus missed 50...Bf6! 51.Qxa3 Rc3+ 52.Qxc3 Bxc3

White probably would have resigned at 51.
