fredthebear: 23...g2! is a nice clearance sacrifice offer.

In the final position, Black is threatening a capture-promotion and a support mate 24...Qg3#. This can be prevented by 24.Qxg2 but then 24...Qh6# is Anastasia's Mate.

If 24.Kxg2 Qg3+ 25.Kh1 Nf2+ 26.QxNf2 QxQf2 avoids checkmate but drops the White queen for the Black knight.

White's best seems to be 24.Qh2. Thereafter the queens are exchanged off and Black's g-pawn capture-promotes, leaving White down a minor piece while the Black knight remains seated in the middle of the board.

Remember, Black played the sacrifice Bxh2+ to kick-off the kingside assault initiative, so winding up a minor piece to the good w/the better endgame is a fine result!
