Black resigns in lieu of 21. Kxf4 Be4+ (-7.36 @ 17 depth, Deep Fritz 15), when play might continue 22. Ke3 Bc5+ 23. Kd2 Rxf3 24. Rae1 Rxf2+ 25. Kc1 Bd4 26. Qg4+ Bf5 27. Qh4 Bxb2+ 28. Kd1 Bc2#.

May-15-17  patzer2: Black's sham Queen sacrifice after 8. Bc4?! (diagram below)

strikes White like a bolt of lightening out of a clear Blue sky.

Black' suprise Queen sacrifice with 8...dxe3! (-0.76 @ 44 depth) gives the second player a strong advantage in picking up three minor pieces for the Queen.

What's also surprising is how Black takes his time with a number of strong in-between moves before picking off the third minor piece with decisive advantage.

No doubt (8...?) would make for an interesting future Saturday or Sunday puzzle.
