Dec-31-16  luzhin: Even for Blitz 29...Qxb2??? is an amazing howler. Whereas after 29...Bb4+ 30.axb4 Rxd4+ White can resign. Given that Muzychuk won the event by a half a point, this is of some significance.
Feb-27-17  newzild: Well, it was a blitz game.

26...Bf4+ looked quite good to me.

Feb-27-17  The Kings Domain: Impressive win by the Ukrainian looker considering the time format.

Feb-27-17  kevin86: Black walked into a mate.
Feb-27-17  cunctatorg: Great blitz though!!

All questions about this game should be directed to him.

And that guy's name is User: fredthebear.

perfidious: While that poster even has at least one of my games in his collections--surely the very zenith of desperation--I cannot imagine having so many collections of games.
Feb-27-17  morfishine: Enough of this game, its a blitz game, which should've automatically excluded it from consideration for "GOTD" status

I can only assume that standards really aren't that high for a "Game of the Day"

Feb-27-17  mckmac: <Morf> It depends on how you look at it, no?

I'm hoping that there will be as many days as we want and deserve and as long as we all turn up reasonably sober on The Day of The Game, well, everything should be sweet.

Cheers.

Apr-11-17  newzild: <Morfishine> White's knight is en prise to Black's d-pawn for 11 straight moves. You don't think this has artistic merit?
