Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-05-15  kamagong24: draw!
Dec-05-15  Ulhumbrus: 5 Bd2 is passive

6 e3 shuts the queen's biahop in and may enable Black to get away with eccentricities such as ...Nc6 and ...a5 as in the game Botvinnik vs Bronstein, 1951

11...h6 disturbs the king side pawns. 11...Nf6 avoids it.

After 15...c4 it becomes more difficult to play the advance ...b4. Instead of this 15...Rab8 begins the plan of ...Be6 and ...Rfc8 with ...b5 and ...b4 to follow eventually

17 a4 attempts a queen side attack although Black has a queen side pawn majority. This suggests preparing the advance e4 instead.

Instead of 17...Re8, 17...Rb8 prepares to get the bishop out by ...Be6.

Dec-06-15  manojelanjickal: Excellent game by Mr.LA, and very impressive fast movements at opening stage
