Mar-17-15  jindraz: Funny. I had to stare at it for a moment before I found the reason for the resignation. My humble opinion, 13. b3 is completely horrible and the rest was just a routine punishment

perfidious: This game more closely resembles a first-round mismatch from Gibraltar or a US Open than a game between a strong GM and an IM who has a notable scalp or three.
Aug-25-15  der623: Esserman is one of the recognized authorities on the Smith-Morra, having beaten Loek van Wely with it. Why would he think that he could veer from his strength to take on a Super-GM in a mainstream Najdorf?

PawnSac: < jindraz: > yea right?! Until i realized black gets the Q for R + B and the pressure is still on.

Well, I'm no expert in the g4 system but if i was going to play it I'd have castled long. Its probably the combination of b3 + 0-0. See..
