Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-26-15  luzhin: I don't think I've ever seen someone lose to a player rated as many as 630 Elo points lower. Amazing upset by the 17 year old Israeli kid--with 35...Rf2+! the coup de grace.
Feb-26-15  Gilmoy: Itaw itaw discovered check!

White's build-up was formidable, but -- borderline insulting, as if he can just ignore Black's equally dynamic positioning, and push wood until Black crumbles. (This may actually work for the first few rounds.) Or perhaps White realized he was actually coming out worse, and needed desperadoes.

<26..e5! 27..c4!> shows icy confidence (or youthful blindness :), paying a precious tempo just to force White to resolve tension. Black owns d, his NN counterpunch the BB, and his K is actually safer.

<40.Bxf6+ Kf7> is cute. I did, I did see discovered check -- but it's harmless.
