Jan-11-15  Beholder: A very nice game. Without looking at the names, you'd think it's a 2750+ beating a 2500-2600.
Jan-11-15  siggemannen: Excellent by Gunina. I guess taking on c3 wasn't the best idea in the long run

tamar: Critical moment after 33 Qg5 Black could win the Queen with 33...Rxg6 34 Qxg6+ Rg7 with winning chances, but was lured into leaving the Rook on f6 unguarded with 33...Ra2.

True, if 34 Qxf6 Rxg2 Black is on the attack, but after the cool 34 Bf2, the Rook is really attacked, and after the ignominious 34...Rf8 Gunina showed her full powers.

HeMateMe: black seemed better for a moment but couldn't' get the black pawn mass moving. Salem's pieces were on the wrong side of the board.
Jan-27-15  intuitivesac: Appeared that the white pawn on d5 was serving a valuable defensive purpose for black: interfering with White's light squared bishop. Capturing it made black's position much harder to defend.
