Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-12-14  th3doctor: Did Gelfand lose on time? Black's position is certainly ugly, but I'm not seeing a decisive knockout coming.
Oct-12-14  th3doctor: Seems like 26...h6 unnecessarily weakens black's position. Maybe 26...Nc8 27. Ne2 Bg7 would be a bit more solid.
Oct-12-14  watwinc: <th3doctor> There’s the threat of Ng3, which isn’t easy for Black to meet ...
Oct-16-14  James T Kirk: Is there the threat 38.Nd6?

  Domdaniel: Something like 37...Be5 38.Bxe5+ Rxe5 39.Qxf5 Rxf5 40.Nd6 Rf4 41.Rb2 Kf6 42.Nxb7 Rxc4 43.Nd6 and White wins easily.

If not 37...Be5 then 38.Nd6 wins.
