Aug-14-14  csmath: Absolutely remarkable game, fully commented on chessbase. Rather dull opening by Duda but then Yu goes for advantage by playing queen traps and in the end just paralyzing ending. Brilliant game by the Chinese.
Jan-26-15  fisayo123: Black's moves from 21 onward are a joy to behold.
Oct-23-15  FairyPromotion: This was a last round game of the Tromso Olympiad. Scoring such a brilliant win while clinching the gold for your country must have been double sweet for Yu.

offramp: A very dull game, really.

The position almost solidifies at move 32 and from then on progress is so slow it reminded me of the Pitch Drop Experiment.

My pun would've been Yawngyi.

Oct-23-15  consul: I had the same feeling of <offramp>: it looks like White wants to lose...

Aye. 'Tis Death Wish III but without the humour but with added Pitch Drop.

Oct-23-15  kevin86: A neat game. It is amusing how the white bishop is harassed by the black pawns. The surprising one is the one that breaks the game.
Oct-23-15  Howard: Strange coincidence...I just looked at this game briefly last night, in New in Chess.
Oct-23-15  thegoodanarchist: An alternate pun could be "Let's Duda Time Warp Again"

Interesting range of opinions on this one.

I like how the black pawns on d7 and d6 pinned the white position down. Was there any way for white to save the game after move 40?

Nov-04-18  Saniyat24: haha what a pun...!
