Aug-03-14  nilba: The ending is absolutely beautiful.
After 30.hxg4 31.♗g5+ ♔f5, the g4 pawn blocks the only escaping square for the king. The king stays surrounded by four of your own guardians in the light squares, while the dark squares are all covered by white pieces. Always a pleasure to watch MVL games.
Aug-03-14  fisayo123: <nilba> MVL is the most exciting player in the world today.

Aug-03-14  hedgeh0g: What a fantastic game from MVL.

Who knows how high he can climb if he manages to maintain the form he's been displaying of late.

Aug-05-14  OneArmedScissor: Nice ending!

PawnSac: I told MVL on ICC that he's my new favorite player. He laughed and said.. "well i hope to have some good performance in the next tourney". I'm not sure if he realizes his potential, but at least he's not an ego maniac like Naka.

Between him and Fabiano we're never short of some real creative chess!
