Jun-19-14  siggemannen: why not just 17...Bxf3?
Jun-19-14  notyetagm: Yifan Hou vs N Muminova, 2014

My girl wins again. :-)

Jun-19-14  Omnias: If 17... Bxf3

18.Qf4

Then
18... Bh5
19.Qf5+

18... Be2
19.Re1

Jun-19-14  rogl: <siggemannen: why not just 17...Bxf3?> Then 18.Qf4! and black can't save her bishop.
Jun-20-14  siggemannen: thanks guys, i actually checked for that tactic, but for some reason didn't see that white could do Qf5
Jun-23-14  Robed.Bishop: 26. Nd6! Looks like the last nail.

beenthere240: 26. Nd6! was very cute -- a pseuodosac that didn't take anything, but led to the win of the exchange.
Jun-25-14  iroozdar: you right about 26.Nd6+ and Nd5+ is very nice and strong, but i think 22.b5 then 23.b6 then 24.a5 are best moves in this game. i think Muminova blunder in 21...f5
Aug-29-15  whiteshark: <16...Nxh3+?> This sacrifice is not enough - the other minor piece had to be given!

With the knight on f4 on the board the opening of the h-file will always be most dangerous for White. Thus the right continuation was the stunning <16...g5!! 17.hxg4 h5!>

and the simple attacking plan <18...hxg4> followed by 19...Qh7 is difficult to parry, e.g. 18.g3 hxg4 19.gxf4 Qh7–+
