Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-08-14  Xeroxx: h7 is weak.
Mar-08-14  Gilmoy: <20..f5> was shelter enough, but Bb7-c7-Nd7 were weak up the middle (e.g. Rfd1). Still, <21..Bd5> was a spectacularly bad backfire: with one move he loses both c6 and Q-sees-g6, still hasn't fixed the Ne6 problem, and gave away an e6 threat.

21..Qd8 22.Qc7 Bc8 23.Rd6 is co(s)mically bad too. When did White's R on d get so annoying? <18..c5> is a Meran for counterplay -- but whoops, White got all of the play!

Opening Explorer shows that <9.h4 g4 10.Ne5 h5> is playable (although rare already). So the flaw must be the novelty in this game, <11..Bb7>: with h7 so weak, a Meran is just too slow.
