Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-08-13  notyetagm: Wow, what a game by Ivan Sokolov.
Jun-09-13  Calar: The way Jakovenko was defeated here, one wouldn't say he's rated 100 points higher then his opponent.

It just seems like Black was pressing all the time, and White just didn't have any counterplay at all. Although Sokolov's play definitely deserves a praise - it takes guts to start sacing material as early as move 6 against higher rated opponent.

By the way, is anything wrong with 17.Bd2?

Jun-09-13  Pulo y Gata: <Calar> 17.Bd2? Simply loses to Nxe3!
Jun-10-13  Calar: <Pulo y Gata> I see it. Thanks :)
