  GrahamClayton: Despite this crushing victory, Stepanov would only finish 4th in the semi-final with a score of 5.5/9. Kan finished =1st on 7/9 with Victor Goglidze and Abram Zamokhovsky, and would progress to the final, where he finished 4th with a score of 9.5/17.
