HeMateMe: Thanks, a great Fischer/Petrosian encounter.
Jul-24-12  Mudphudder: Damn this game is crazy.
Oct-15-12  The Last Straw: amazing endgame!
Oct-15-12  severus6: "Use Knight Slash!" [/lameness]
Oct-15-12  Blunderdome: Wow...
Oct-15-12  Abdel Irada: Having once enjoyed the dubious pleasure of playing Wild 5 against MAdBorg on FICS (and yes, I still have traces of the headache from that game), I found the position after White's 25th move disturbingly familiar.
Oct-15-12  newzild: A most cool game.
Oct-15-12  sofouuk: several minor inaccuracies before this point, of course, not surprising given the hideously complex nature of the game, but white was fighting well right up to move 45

he played Qf4?, but instead after Qf5! black should take the immediate perpetual with Rd3 46 Qf4! Rd4 47 Qf5 Rd3 (at least, this is one of the 0.00s - there are others) if this line makes little sense to you, well it made no sense to me the first time i saw it either :)

Oct-15-12  paavoh: At move 25, Kamsky had disobeyed the rule "Place your pieces behind your pawns", twenty-or-so moves later he got it right and won the game :-)
Oct-15-12  Llawdogg: Pokemon

  FSR: What an insane game!
Oct-15-12  Razgriz: Insane, insane game. I think White lost when the queen side attack failed. Great resilience from Black to rally from losing a rook and a queen.
Oct-15-12  Once: <Razgriz> I don't think that black lost a rook and queen. I think he willingly sacrificed them to push home his three connected passed pawns on the queenside.

Not resilience, brilliance!

Oct-15-12  kevin86: An odd situation! Both sides have three connected passed pawns! Black promotes THREE,white only one. Black wins!
Oct-15-12  ELCABALLO238: Gata's meow, meow, was to strong for Joba's Baa, Baa!!
Oct-15-12  Castleinthesky: True fireworks! A great G of the Day
Oct-15-12  Moonwalker: Excellent pun, too!

Jan-28-13  sami sherriff: Amazing ...that's Fischer Style ...I Think Capablanca still Alive in 2011 ..Genuis Gata ..thank you for this Insane Game!!!!!!
Jan-28-13  Gilmoy: <sofouuk:> 45.<Qf4?, but instead after 45.Qf5!> I see: Δ46.h7 and White queens first. But here she's forkable:

<... black should take the immediate perpetual with 45..Rd3> Δ46.h7 Nf3+ 47.Kh1 Re1+ 48.Kg2[] Nh4+ winning a "pawn" :)

<46.Qf4!> sees-h4 <46..Rd4 47.Qf5 Rd3>=

Aug-24-13  pericles of athens: Thought about this position for a while, 31...?(black to move)

The queen sac is pretty, but I thought there had to be a simpler solution.

The first move I considered was 31...Qe5. It gets out of the way of the Rook, threatens mate in 1, and doesn't have to worry about the 32. Re3 response because the kninght is covering that square.

Sure enough, let Fritz think about it for a while and this is his preferred move, nearly +1 better than 31...RxR. (+1.30 for 31...Qe5).

May-17-14  Jambow: Well here we go again another wild insane Kamsky game. Another favorite for the ages.
Sep-15-14  SpiritedReposte: How many promotions does one need??
