fredthebear: This game features a knight-less middlegame which tend to be sharp as the long range pieces form batteries on open lines. When the knights and center pawns are removed, the game speeds up.

In the final position, the Black king cannot escape the coming series of checks. The Black pawns will fall with check, and the Black pieces will be skewered behind the check as all four of White's long range pieces are ready to strike.
