fredthebear: White's final move 23.Qc3!! is a bold beauty comparable to Frank Marshall's "Gold Coins Game". Here, the White queen offers herself as a deflection sacrifice, while preventing checkmate on d2, and threatening to give checkmate on the back rank!!

If Black accepts the queen sacrifice offer, promotion wins for White after 23...RxQc3 24.Bb7+ KxBb7 25.a8=Q+ Kc7 26.Ra7# 1-0.
