The question marks were earned long before this move. Black threatens 31...Qh1#. No other bishop move delays the threat., and if 31.Rh3 Qg1#. If 31.Kh2 Qxf2+ and mate after 32.Bg2 Qg1# or 32.Rg2 Qh4#.

Or 31.Rg4 Bxg4 32.Bxg4 Qh1+ 33.Kg3 Rg1+ 34.Kf4 Qh2+ winning the queen. And there might even be a mate; I'm not wasting silicon on this one.

White's best 31st move by far was resignation, but some guys feel better if they go down in material first.
