Aug-12-11  DrMAL: Lovely game by lovely Lahno in the way she steadily built more advantage from Hou's inaccuracies starting around 19...Ng4 a dubious move. Seems Lahno was determined to make the best of an off-day for Hou. The slow ramp-up of Houdini eval is interesting on http://rostov2011.live.whychess.org/.

  perfidious: This isn't a QGD, but an old form of the Saemisch Nimzo which often used to be reached via 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.a3 Bxc3+ 5.bxc3 d5 6.e3 0-0 7.cxd5 exd5.
Jun-20-12  freeman8201: <perfidious> Yes, it transposed into a saemisch-nimzo, but at anytime black could've played Ne7 or Nh6 to going into a different line that would not relate to any nimzo-game. I recently read an article about this line and the author went on to say that this is the unnamed QGD!
