HeMateMe: Nice game, particularly the finese that got the won pawn, around move 26. As soon as Negri played 18. f6, Hou was off to the races.
Jun-29-11  bronkenstein: Karpov-Kasparov 1984 , Karpov vs Kasparov, 1985 , Kasparov played 13...dxe5 and the game was drawn in 7-8 moves , while Negi opted for rare 13...Bxf3.

Further down that line , 15...gxf 16.exd with compensation seems to be main (in fact the only one played on master+ level according to my database) , Negi varies with 15...bxc , which seems to be either novelty ( but rather improvised than prepared in that case =) or just running out of theory too soon .

Jun-29-11  Blunderdome: 19. Be3 is nice.
